Changshion Foods Co., Ltd. first began its journey in the 1960s, when a local fishing family decided to turn their knowledge of the sea into a sustainable business. What started on a small scale has since developed into a fully integrated seafood enterprise that covers catching, processing, and worldwide sales. Our home is at Xiangzhi Central Fishing Port, one of China's five most important fishing harbours. The port sits in an area where the sea is rich with marine life, and the local infrastructure has grown up around the fishing industry, providing all the support a seafood business could need. This location gives us a steady supply of fresh seafood and good transport links to customers in many countries.

The family heritage is at the heart of our identity. Several generations of our family have worked on the water, learning about fish behaviour, seasonal changes, and the best ways to handle seafood from the moment it is brought aboard. This experience cannot be gained from books; it comes from years of being on the water and paying attention to the details that matter. We have taken this knowledge and applied it to every part of our business. Our guiding idea is simple but meaningful: "living from the sea and quality first." Our factory covers more than 10,000 square metres and contains both a modern processing area and a large cold storage facility. We process and freeze up to 200 tonnes of seafood every day, and our cold rooms can store up to 8,000 tonnes of goods. Across a full year, our production regularly goes beyond 10,000 tonnes. Even with these large numbers, we pay close attention to quality at every step. Our technical staff oversee the entire production process, carrying out checks from the time raw materials enter the plant until the moment finished products are packed for shipping. We operate according to HACCP rules and follow the food safety standards set by the European Union. Our testing covers harmful bacteria, unwanted chemical substances, and product appearance, all to make sure that everything we send out meets the high standards our customers expect.

Having control over the entire chain from catch to delivery gives us important advantages. We have built strong relationships with local fishing boats over many years, which means we get access to fresh catches as soon as they come in. This reduces the waiting time between catching and processing, helping us keep our seafood in top condition. Our cold storage capacity plays a key role here too, preserving the natural taste and nutritional value of our products. We also offer full traceability, so our customers can see exactly where their seafood came from and how it was handled along the way.
