Our catch is sourced using sustainable purse‑seine methods during peak seasons, when the fish reach optimal fat content for superior flavour. Upon landing, the catch is swiftly transported to our state‑of‑the‑art processing facility, where it undergoes meticulous size grading, thorough rinsing, and immediate flash‑freezing at ‑40°C. This rapid IQF technology forms microscopic ice crystals that protect the delicate muscle fibres, locking in the firm, meaty texture and natural oceanic sweetness. Unlike block‑frozen alternatives, each fish remains individually loose and free‑flowing, enabling easy portion control-perfect for busy restaurant kitchens and wholesale operations. Nutritionally, round scad delivers high‑quality protein, omega‑3 fatty acids, vitamin A, and essential minerals like calcium, phosphorus, and potassium. Its mild yet savoury taste adapts beautifully to grilling, deep‑frying, steaming, or braising.
