Product Details

Frozen Giant Squid Fillet Skin on
Giant squid fillet (skin-on) is produced from freshly caught squid, which are cleaned on board or at a shore factory. Viscera, eyes, and cartilage are removed while the skin is kept intact. The mantle is cut into uniform fillets, which then undergo deacidification treatment.
The fillets are quickly frozen below –18°C, often with a thin ice glaze, then packed and stored in cold storage. This process preserves texture and flavour for up to 24 months.
